As you all know, This week marked the beginning of my adventure in the Baking Program at College. It is extremely enjoyable. Everyday consists of new recipes and methods. This quarter we are learning about cake balancing, cake mixing methods, and cake decorating. Here are some pictures of school and desserts, me and my fellow students made today.

That is very exciting. I would have a major problem in that class cause I would want to eat everything!! Looks delicious.
I know Kaylee... But you get so busy baking you don't have time to be tempted! But, we do have a "sampling" time at the end of the day. This is a time to comment on what you liked and thought about everyone's desserts.
everything looks delicious!!! I wana learn to make those apple dumplings. Looks like you are having a good time Marie..:)
How fun Marie - I am so glad for you, that you get to do what you love all day now. BTW - those desserts look scrumptious!
Wow Marie! That looks like a lot of fun :) Glad you are doing something you want to do...my dad always says that you can always help someone who says what they want
Marie- your desserts look scrumptious! I'd have to speak up in favor of the Ginger Upsidedown Cake with Amaretto Carmel Sauce and the Raspberry Streusel muffins, though! Oh, boy. I feel 50lbs. heavier already! Your 'classroom' dessert pictures make a person real hungry (especially if said person has been *trying* to eat healthy all week long). Ouch. There goes that! Thank you for sharing, Marie!
I am so proud of you. The very best part is you are doing what you love. Not many people really love their job. They jut go to work, because they need to. Love you so much. Gramma
